History

Asian Aid Australia began in 1966 as a result of the dream of one caring woman—a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in New South Wales—who wanted to make a difference in the lives of orphan children in developing countries. In 1977 contacts were made to initiate assistance to children in India. Since then Asian Aid Australia has grown to involve approximately 4,000 donors supporting more than 7,000 children in four countries in Southern Asia.

Asian Aid USA

Asian Aid USA is a charitable ministry operated in Auburn, Nebraska. It has been established to provide support for children and the destitute in countries around the world.

In conjunction with Asian Aid Australia's educational projects already in progress, we are currently assisting in the support and education of more than 5,000 orphans and destitute children in India and Nepal. In the first year of operation, more than 550 additional children have received sponsorships from persons across the United States. In addition, thousands of dollars have been donated to the Hungry Money fund to feed widows, children and handicapped persons who are otherwise forced to beg for food.

All children who are financially sponsored through Asian Aid USA are also given the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Many of them make life-long commitments to follow the Lord. Whether they make a commitment to Jesus or not, their lives are profoundly impacted by monthly gifts from caring persons like you—their sponsors.

Won't you help make a difference in a needy child's life today?

Some Asian Aid USA staff are paid, while others work on a volunteer basis. Salaries and office expenses are paid from donations designated for that purpose. Independent financial audits are conducted annually.
